Cardiology

The cardiology department deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the heart.

We also oversee all cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass and valvular surgery.

Our motto is ‘the best cure for a broken heart is cardiac surgery’.

 

Visiting Patients

The Cardiology ward accept visitors from 9am-9pm.

At St Bede’s we take the hygiene of hands incredibly seriously. You will be greeted by our hand cleaner Paul at reception and you will not be allowed to enter or exit the hospital until he has scrubbed your hands 17 times. Don’t worry, he’s very gentle.
