Radiology
The radiology department is responsible for all imaging and diagnostic services within the hospital. We offer minimally invasive image guided treatment for a range of conditions. Our tests include, but are not limited to: X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and shining a light at you that’s so strong we can see your insides (SALAYTSSWCSYI).
Visiting Patients
You cannot visit patients in the radiology department because we have no wards, no beds and nowhere for you to leave cuddly toys. If you do try and visit a patient while they are in the radiology department, there is a good chance you will end up with radiation poisoning.

Public Announcements
#1
At St Bede’s we take the hygiene of hands incredibly seriously. You will be greeted by our hand cleaner Paul at reception and you will not be allowed to enter or exit the hospital until he has scrubbed your hands 17 times. Don’t worry, he’s very gentle.
#2
We know you’ve been looking up your symptoms on the internet but that doesn’t make you a doctor. Please respect our staff, their medical diagnoses, and their treatment plans.
#3
Visitors are not permitted to walk around the wards barefoot.
